Germany has emerged as one of the preferred study destinations for Indian students seeking education abroad. According to data from the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, around 20,810 Indian students are currently enrolled in German universities (2021). The country offers a world-class education system with modern facilities, and a significant portion of its GDP is allocated to maintaining the education sector. However, there is an administration fee (ranging from €300 to €500) payable at the beginning of each semester.
